Clearing a home means moving heavy, awkward things through finished, lived-in spaces. Preventing scratches, nicks and scuffs isn’t an afterthought for us — it’s the job. Here is exactly how we do it, and what we promise if anything goes wrong.
Six things happen on every job, in order — before, during, and after the work.
We walk the affected areas with you and photograph the starting condition — including any pre-existing marks — so there’s a clear, shared record before a single item moves.
We protect the surfaces and paths the work will touch:
Blanket-wrap and pads for furniture and fragile pieces, shrink-wrap where it helps, two-person (or team) carries for heavy and awkward items, disassembly where it lowers risk — and a firm no-drag, no-stack-on-finished-surfaces rule.
We map carry paths in advance, clear obstacles, and protect fixtures, light switches and thresholds along the way, so nothing gets bumped in a tight turn.
Anything you’re keeping is set aside and protected. We confirm the keep / move / donate / sell / clear designation for anything in question before it’s moved — nothing leaves unconfirmed.
On completion we walk the space with you, remove all our protective materials, sweep the work area, and confirm you’re satisfied before we leave.
Despite every precaution, if we cause damage, tell us within [72 hours] and we’ll inspect promptly and — at our option and in coordination with you — repair, replace, or reimburse the reasonable value of what we affected. Standing behind our work is the whole point.
By volume, access, labor and destination — confirmed before we load. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Prepared, uniformed crews who work quietly and treat your home and your privacy with respect.
We carry commercial insurance appropriate to the work; a certificate of insurance is available on request.
Donation, resale and recycling routed responsibly, with documentation where it applies.
Specific insurance limits, certificates and crew-screening details are confirmed in your service agreement. See the full Terms of Service.
